  • About

There are as many versions of this golden colored sauce as there are of tomato-based sauces. This is a bit sweeter than the other Carolina style sauces we’ve offered up. Alter the red pepper amount in this recipe according to your own tastebuds.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup

Method

In a large saucepan, over low heat, add all the ingredients and simmer all for 15-20 minutes, stirring constantly with a spoon. DON’T BOIL!

Remove pan from the heat, and let pan cool to room temperature. Pour mixture into a sealable glass or plastic bottle.

Fantastic with smoked ham, pork shoulder, or pork ribs. But should be tried on beef, lamb and chicken too.
