Season the shrimp with the salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder, put them in a bag with the flour, and shake to coat well. Shake excess flour from the shrimp and place them in a skillet with a half inch of hot oil. (Test the oil temperature by dropping in a dab of flour; adjust the heat so the flour browns, not burns.) Fry until golden brown on both sides. Don’t overcook them, or the shrimp
