One of the foods our family always looks forward to when we go to Italy is wild mushrooms, especially fresh porcini. The combination of flavor and texture is rich and sensual. Back home, fresh porcini are pretty hard to get, especially in Florida. There are plenty of other varieties of wild mushrooms available in the States, however.
