Whole steamed artichokes make a simple, elegant appetizer or even side dish. If you whip up the dip and trim the artichokes while the water is coming to a boil, your work is done. Remember to set out an empty bowl for discarded leaves.

  • plain low-fat Greek yogurt, 1 cup (8 oz/250 g)
