Fresh pomegranate juice is available in the refrigerated juice section of most supermarkets. Its sweet, tart flavor is suited to a simple preparation like these vibrant, refreshing pops. Ice pop molds are easy to find and worth having around for easy warm-weather treats.

Ingredients

  • pomegranate juice, 2 cups(16 fl oz/500 ml)
  • fresh tangerine

Method

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together pomegranate juice, tangerine juice, and sugar until sugar is completely dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  2. Ladle mixture into ice pop molds. Attach cover and insert sticks. Place molds in freezer and freeze until firm, at least 6 hours and up to 2 weeks.
  3. To serve, run hot water over outsides of mold (below rim) for a few seconds,
