  • About

This sweet and sour sauce is of relatively new coinage. (Tomato ketchup didn’t become commercially available until 1875.) But the interplay of sweet and sour has struck a chord in the sensibilities of Jews around the world.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned tomato sauce
  • 1 cup tomato ketchup
  • 2 cups

Method

  1. Combine the ingredients in a large bowl and stir to mix. Pour this mixture over the cabbage and bake as described above.
