If you love jalapeños, you will love this sauce. It’s so easy to prepare and amazing with tostadas. It can be served warm or cold—but it is picante (spicy)!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion until translucent, 5 to 6 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute more.
  2. Add the tomatoes and their juices and stir to combine, then add the jalapeños, oregano, and salt.
