Brambles are wild blackberries, and if you are lucky enough to live near bramble bushes, make sure you harvest a huge batch in autumn. Brambles are too pippy to make jam – but make the best jelly in the world! You will be able to forage for rosehips at the same time; they are naturally high in pectin, which will help your jelly set. Pick these from the dog rose plant.
