The fiery ginger, zesty lemon and dark chocolate combine perfectly to create these biscuits. They take a wee bit of patience to assemble but your guests will appreciate it.
Put the flour, butter, ground ginger and bicarbonate of soda in a mixing bowl and combine.
Add the sugar, golden syrup and egg, mix well until it forms a firm pastry mix.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 5mm thick
