Christmas celebrations are not complete without a trifle. Tipsy Laird – aka the Drunk Lord – is a Scottish trifle made using fresh Scottish raspberries and whisky instead of the more commonly used sherry. Make sure you have my custard recipe to hand, but make it extra thick for your trifle by keeping it over the heat for an extra couple of minutes.
