Whisky macarons are the perfect fusion of French pastry finesse and Scottish spirit. These wee treats combine the delicate, airy texture of macarons with the rich, complex flavours of whisky. The chocolate ganache is infused with whisky, allowing the flavours to develop a luxurious taste. I love to use a 10-year-old Jura whisky. Oh, and pour yourself a dram – it’s the chef’s prerogative!
