If you make your own sloe gin then this is a fun way to show it off at a party and it’s a great talking point. Otherwise, it’s not difficult to find good-quality sloe gin in the shops. Depending on how strong you want your jellies to be, you can up the gin and useless water.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
  • 6 g leaf gelatine (2 sheets

Method

Bring 200 ml water to the boil in a saucepan, add the sugar and stir until dissolved, then remove from the heat.
