Method

If you’d like to bake the mashed potatoes, Preheat the oven to 350°F 180°C) and generously butter a baking dish.

Chop the potatoes and cook them in a large pan of boiling salted water until very tender. Drain. Mash with a masher, or preferably, pass through a potato ricer. N
