  • 2 tbsp golden syrup or honey

Method

Oil a small baking dish with vegetable oil. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and syrup and stir until the sugar melts. Lower the heat and cook without stirring until you have a tea-colored syrup. About 15 minutes.
