Instead of bay leaves you can also use thyme, rosemary or fresh mint. Very tasty!

Ingredients

  • 500 ml (16 fl oz/2 cups) vodka

Method

Combine the vodka, bay leaves, cinnamon and lemon and leave the mixture to ferment in a clean container for two weeks. Bring the water and sugar to a boil and stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Strain the bay drink and add the sugar syrup. Pour the liqueur into a bottle and leave to cool.
