  • 2 tbsp golden syrup, but honey also works well
  • 5 tsp butter

Method

Heat the honey and the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the caster sugar, puffed rice and cocoa. Grease an oblong shallow baking tray. Add the mixture. Slightly press and even out with the back of a spoon or spatula. Leave to cool and transfer to a board. Heat the chocolate over a bain-marie. Pour over the cake on the board and even out using the spatula. Leave to set in the refrigerator and cut i
