In this recipe I say that you have to let them dry on a rolling pin, but if you carefully press them on a bottle cap, you will create small cups; which you can fill! With vanilla cream, for example, and red fruit.

Ingredients

For at Least 20 Tuiles

  • 2 egg whites
  • a teeny pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp

Method

Beat the egg whites, salt and the sugar until stiff. Stir in the flour and the melted butter. With the help of a spoon, drop dollops of batter on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with the almonds and bake the tuiles in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F/Gas 4) for 5 minutes until golden brown. Always bake small quantities.
