In this recipe I say that you have to let them dry on a rolling pin, but if you carefully press them on a bottle cap, you will create small cups; which you can fill! With vanilla cream, for example, and red fruit.
Beat the egg whites, salt and the sugar until stiff. Stir in the flour and the melted butter. With the help of a spoon, drop dollops of batter on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with the almonds and bake the tuiles in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F/Gas 4) for 5 minutes until golden brown. Always bake small quantities. While still very warm, remove the tuiles from the baking t
