I just returned from a food getaway in southern Italy. People there are such good cooks that experimenting at home in our vacation rental made no sense at all. So we filled our bellies with local specialties. And because there were so many, we spent all day doing so.
Back home I was overcome by an enormous baking urge. After sitting on my hands for so long I was itching to fire up the oven, but the only ingredients I had were an old carton of yogurt and a neglected ginger root. Luck
