- 7 oz. bag dried apricots
- 2 small navel oranges

- Dice the apricots. Quarter the oranges lengthwise, trimming away the thick rind at each end, and slice thinly. Combine the fruit with water in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
- Simmer, covered, for about 2 hours until everything is very soft and liquid is well reduced. If there is too much liquid when the fruit is soft, raise the heat and boil, stirring constantly, un
