8 to 10 half pint

2 quarts fully-ripe but still firm strawberries
1 box powdered pectin
- Wash and hull the strawberries. Crush completely, one layer at a time, using a potato masher. Measure 4½ cups into a large pan.
- Add the powdered pectin. Bring to a hard boil and add the sugar. Follow the basic directions and seal in sterile jars once complete.
