  • 6 very ripe pomegranates
  • juice of 2 oranges
  • finely grated peel and juice of 1

Method

  1. Remove the juice sacks from the pomegranates and mash them, one layer at a time, or whir in a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the juice from the oranges, the grated lemon peel, and the lemon juice. Bring the juices to a boil and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
