Name: Spiced Dried Fruit Butter
Ingredients: Add the syrup ingredients substituting ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon for the whole sticks and ¼ teaspoon ground spice for whole cloves and ginger. Taste and add more of the spices if you wish. Add the grated rind of 1 lemon or orange instead of the whole fruit. The juice of the fruit may also be added but your sauce will need longer cooking due to the added liquid.; Cook the selected fruits as for the Spiced Mixed Dried Fruits recipe but cook until well done and almost falling apart.
