  • 2 qts. canned crushed tomatoes without seasoning except salt
  • 2 medium yellow onions
  • 1

Method

  1. Wash, cut up, and finely chop the onions and green pepper. For a smoother sauce, use a blender or food processor.
  2. Combine all ingredients and slowly bring to a boil. Cook slowly until desired thickness, stirring often. Scrape the bottom of the kettle very well. As the sauce thickens, it will tend to stick. When thick, seal in sterile jars. You will have between
