  • 2 48-oz. cans tomato juice (for a chunkier sauce, replace 1 can with an equal amount of crushed tomatoes)

Method

  1. Crush or mince the garlic, finely shred the carrots, and mince the onion and pepper. Combine all ingredients in a large kettle and simmer until desired thickness. Taste for salt when partly cooked and add if needed.
