  • 2 lbs. raw shrimp
  • several celery tops, chopped
  • 2 rounded tablespoons mixed pickling spices</


  1. Wash the shrimp and put into a kettle of water to cover along with the celery tops, pickling spices, and salt.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook only until the shrimp turn orange, about 3 minutes, depending on the size of the shrimp. Drain, cool, and clean the shrimp.
