This variation on our classic buttermilk scones adds juicy blueberries and tangy lemon zest, resulting in one of our favorite sweet scones. Don’t skip out on coating the blueberries in flour—the flour absorbs some of the fruit juices as the scones bake, making the berries less likely to sink to the bottom. We love to eat them straight off the baking sheet, but for a slightly more sophisticated serving suggestion, eat warm with lemon curd and a cup of tea.
