Holly worked with us for a while. We called her ‘Holly the friendly ghost’ because of her quiet ways and her ability to materialise behind us out of thin air. A staunch vegetarian and lover of small animals, she did not talk to us much, but she did tell us how the smell of this dish made her want to leave her veggie ways for a while. The delicious aroma that is so joyous to diners is the bane of existence for the kitchen staff, especially the girls as the smell gets caught in their hair. Th
