If life gives you lemons, consider yourself lucky – we love lemonade. Our favourite is the one Margaret Tayar in Jaffa makes. She cooks the entire lemon and blends the fruit to a pulp with sugar. Then when a table orders a jug of lemonade, she just adds water and plenty of ice – delish. Others put loads of mint in it, until it resembles mouthwash rather than a drink.
