This is pure heaven and a great accompaniment to any roast. It’s so easy to do as well; your guests will all want to recreate this when they get back in their kitchens.

  1. Put the cream in a saucepan and finely grate in the garlic cloves using a microplane. Add the bay leaf and season with salt and white pepper. Bring to the boil over medium heat and once the cream has scalded, remove from the heat.
