  • About

Make the dough and get the kids to cut out assorted Christmas shapes, then let them go nuts with frostings and decorations. For something a bit smarter, cut out shapes and use a small plain icing tip to make a small hole at the top. Once baked, thread string or ribbon through the holes and hang as decorations on the tree.

Ingredients

  • 250 g (9 oz) honey
  • 35 g (

Method

  1. Put the honey and butter in the bowl of a freestanding electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Beat the ingredients together on low-medium speed until pale and smooth.
  2. Sieve the flour and spice into a bowl. Add the flour and sugar to the honey mix and beat slowly to incorporate. Whisk together the warm water and bicarbonate soda and add to the bowl.</
