This savoury recipe combines beef with crunchy peanuts. It is a delicious combination that has a wonderful texture. This dish will go well with noodles, pasta or just plain rice. Serve with a vegetable dish for a complete meal.
Heat a wok or large frying-pan over a high heat until it is hot. Add the oil and, when it is very hot and slightly smoking, add the garlic, ginger and spring onions and stir-fry for 15 seconds. Add the beef, stir well to break up all the pieces and continue to stir-fry for about 2 minutes or until the beef loses its pink colour. Then add the rest of the main ingredients, stirring all the time.
