This bombe is made of vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries. It gets its name from the square Comtesse-Marie mold in which it is shaped.

Ingredients

  • Recipe of Crème à l’Anglaise
  • 2 tablespoons crème fraîche
  • 1 quart strawberries</

Method

  1. Put a Comtesse-Marie mold (square container with a lid) into the freezer to get cold.
  2. Make Crème à l’Anglaise and cool. Stir in crème fraîche and freeze into ice cream in a freezer.
