This bombe is made of vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries. It gets its name from the square Comtesse-Marie mold in which it is shaped.

Ingredients

Recipe of Crème à l’Anglaise
2 tablespoons crème fraîche
1 quart strawberries</

Method

Put a Comtesse-Marie mold (square container with a lid) into the freezer to get cold.
Make Crème à l’Anglaise and cool. Stir in crème fraîche and freeze into ice cream in a freezer.
When frozen, remove paddle. Coat the entire square mold with a 1-
