Method

  1. Make Feuilletée. Give two turns and then chill. Peel and core 5 of the apples. Cut into quarters and put into a pan. Add wine, ½ cup sugar, salt, butter, cinnamon, and vanilla bean. Cover and simmer until tender. Add more wine, if necessary,
