  • About

Potatoes are an essential ingredient in the Indian kitchen, and I love learning new ways of serving them. Ambat batata is a sour potato curry from Malwan, which lies along the Konkan coast of Maharashtra. Ambat in Marathi means “sour,” and here the flavor comes from yogurt and kokum. I love this dish with hot rotis.
