I got the idea for this in the Tesco Recipe Collection of October 1996 in an article written by Catherine Brown. It is a modern take on a traditional dish, which was a hodge-podge of various vegetables cooked and mushed together. This is something not so stylish as to be self-conscious, but not so hearty as to be indigestible.
