Since you will be required to eat whatever’s cooked, you may as well try to make sure it’s something you like. Although it might seem crazy to make digestive biscuits at home, I rather like them – a case of life imitating artifice. I’m not a great biscuit buyer, simply because I’m not a great biscuit eater, but when I get the urge for one of these sandy, oaty, wheaten biscuits, I brightly, in the manner of a dangly-earringed children’s television presenter, suggest we make them.
