Ingredients: ½ cup (120 ml) refined coconut oil, at room temperature; 2 tablespoons lightly packed, chopped fresh rosemary; ½ teaspoon salt; ⅓ cup (65 g) granulated sugar; 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds; ⅓ cup (30 g) unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted if clumpy; ⅓ cup (75 g) packed light brown sugar; 1 (4-ounce/115 g) dark chocolate bar, broken into chunks; ¼ cup (60 ml) unsweetened nondairy milk; 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract; ½ teaspoon baking soda; 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour

Chocolate has been waiting its whole life to be coupled with rosemary! It took the new millennium to make it happen. A few cookbooks ago I created a rosemary chocolate chip cookie and it has been one of my most popular recipes ever. It’s like a chocolatey kiss in a forest! This time around, I upped the chocolate game. The dough is chocolate and we are using broken-up chocolate chunks to create the chips, for bigger chocolate bites. To create the chocolate chunks, use a chef’s knife to cut t
