Daun kasbi is the Ambonese name for cassava leaves, a favourite green vegetable all over Indonesia. I am hoping that before too long they will be available in the West, but until that time comes it is worth making this cooked salad with curly kale. Alternatively, if you like vegetables with a bitter taste, make it with bitter gourd (also called bitter cucumber), or a combination of both vegetables, as described here.
