This is similar to Kue Talam, but has thin rounds of banana cooked inside it.

Ingredients

  • 3 large bananas
  • 250 g (8 oz) rice flour

Method

Sift the rice flour and cornflour into a mixing-bowl, and add a pinch of salt. Heat the santen in a saucepan, taking care not to let it boil. Put about half a cup of santen into a small saucepan and use it to dissolve the sugar. Use the rest of the santen, with the flour, to make a smooth, fairly thi
