Ragi or Finger Millet is a superfood which is seeing a revival in India. This healthy dessert, prepared with ragi and a variety of seeds and nuts, is a delicious teatime snack or post-meal treat. It is a great addition to your pantry, for the young and old alike.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp clarified butter or coconut oil

Method

Roast the ragi flour in the clarified butter or coconut oil on a medium heat, until you get the aroma of the cooked flour and the colour turns reddish purple. Set aside to cool down.
