Kingklip is a fish that many South Africans know and love as it is served in lots of restaurants here. This is a very simple restaurant-quality recipe to grill this delicious fish at home for the whole family to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • Good quality fresh kingklip fillets, skinned and boned
  • Seasoning of your choice (I used Robertsons Spice for Fish)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Crushed garlic

Method

The kingklip I used for this recipe was supplied by Greenfish Traders and had been filleted into 250 g portions with the skin and bones removed.

Line a tray with tin foil, place the kingklip fillets on the tray, then season with the spice of your choice along with salt and pepper to taste.<
