The Delle Fratte family live at Zagarolo, a small town in the province of Rome. They keep chickens, rabbits and doves, have a small vegetable plot and are almost self-sufficient. Antonietta, the mother of the family, adores cooking and I cannot visit them without feeling as though I have put on about 3 kilos in weight!
