This delicious Abruzzese dessert calls for two ingredients which could not be more local: torrone (nougat) and Centerbe liqueur. Naturally, you can substitute ready-made nougat and any other liqueur of your choice provided that it is aromatic and powerful, such as Benedictine or Chartreuse. The dessert consists of layers of liqueur-soaked sponge with differently flavoured whipped cream in between each layer. Needless to say, if s very rich!
