This Tuscan recipe could just as easily be in the grains chapter among the many polenta dishes enriched with beans or greens, such as polenta incatenata, Because this mixture is thinner, however, it falls into the soup category. In Friuli, a similar soup, made with cooked spinach, is called paparot.
