  • 575 ml double cream
  • 575 ml full cream milk

Preheat the oven to 150°C/gas mark 2. Bring the cream, milk and nutmeg to the boil and remove from the heat. Mix the sugar and eggs and whisk them into the warm cream mixture. Stir in the evaporated milk.
