Eat wagashi or something sweet before you drink this tea to best appreciate the flavour of the tea. If you don’t have a bamboo whisk use a small fork instead.

Method

  1. Warm a large cup (a rice bowl is deal) with hot water. Soak the tip of a bamboo whisk in the hot water so that the matcha won’t stain it. Empty the cup.
  2. Put 5-10 ml/1-2 tsp
