This cheese and spinach stuffed pancake is from Bessarabia, the historical name for modern Moldova, in romania. It is ideal for Shavuot, the holiday of dairy feasting.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 40 g/ oz/3 tbsp

Method

  1. Blend the eggs, butter, cream and water in a food processor or blender. With the motor running, spoon in the flour and salt through the feeder tube until the batter mixture is smooth and lump free. Leave to rest for 15 minutes, loosely covered with clear film (plastic wrap).
