  • About

A classic, very tasty pastry which is filled with jam and baked. You can make these into little one-portion tartlets, if you prefer, rather than one big torte. This sweet recipe was named not, as is commonly thought, after the town of Linz, but after Linzer, chef to the a Rchduke Charles of Austria, Victor over Napoleon at a Spern in 1809.
