Made of ground sesame seeds and spiced with garlic and lemon juice, this is Israel’s most famous sauce. Drizzle it on to hamburgers, koftas, falafel, a bowl of warm chickpeas, roasted peppers, boiled cauliflower – almost anything. It’s also the quintessential dip, served with soft pitta bread.
