Once you’ve got the straight-up, 100 percent wholewheat loaf under your belt, you might wanna spice things up a bit by adding some seeds. This is a great combo that is surprisingly hard to find. I like to put just sesame seeds inside the loaf, then cover it with both sesame and poppy seeds, but you are your own baker, so do what you will.
I wrote up this recipe as a free-form hearth loaf, but you can just as easily go sandwich style.
